Domain Accounts
Your domain account is what you use to log in to your workstation, or to the VPN. In most cases this is the first part of your email address:
User ID: user
Password: ********
You may also see it with the domain qualifier of "AFBF."
User ID: AFBF\user
Password: ********
Office 365 Accounts
Your Office 365 account is what you use to log in to email. This is used in Outlook, as well as when configuring your work email on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. The login for this is your full email address:
User ID: user@fb.org
Password: ********
Things To Keep in Mind
- These are two separate accounts.
- The password for each can be the same if you choose, but they may also be different.
- Resetting the password for one account will not change the password for the other. If you wish to keep them the same, you must reset both each time you want to change your password.
- If you reset your Office 365 password, you will need to manually update your password on all connected mobile devices.
Since when?!?!
These accounts have not always been separate. Before we moved to Office 365 in 2013, these accounts were in sync so your domain password was always the same as your email password. However, that is no longer the case.
