Resetting Passwords

The password for your email (Office 365 password) may be different than the password you use to log in to your workstation (Domain password). If your Office 365 password changes you must also manually update any mobile devices with your Office 365 account on them, i.e. anywhere you access your @fb.org email.

Resetting Your Known Office 365 Password

If you know your current password, you can reset your password yourself by using the following instructions:

1. Log in to the Office 365 portal (https://mail.fb.org).
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner.
3. Select Office 365 settings.
4. Select the password change your password. option.
5. You will be prompted to enter your old password, new password, and to confirm the new password.

Resetting a Forgotten Office 365 Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it using the following instructions:

1. Go to the Office 365 portal (https://mail.fb.org).
2. Click on the Can't access your account? link.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen. NOTE: your User ID is your full email address.

Resetting an Admin Password

Admin users cannot reset their own passwords. They must use the Can't access your account? link to reset.
